Tasting menu's

After seeing the thread on MGM tasting menu%26#39;s I was wonder if any other upscale restaurants offered them? A great way to sample!

Lots of restaurants are still offering them. Check your favorite hotels for info. I know Mirage still has theirs listed:

We went to Le Oriel at the MB for a 7 course taster menu and it was absolutely superb.

Also, with each course came an accompanying glass of wine.

Each dish and wine was described to us in great detail.

You also had the novelty of a wine waitress (called wine nymph) who flew thro%26#39; the air on a cord to get the different wines from the wine tower!

A truly great experience and at a reasonable price from what I can remember. Not sure if they still do it but it is definitely worth checking out.

At the Wynn just over a week ago every restaurant there offered a special prix fixe (three course) menu for a great price. Not certain if that%26#39;s exactly what you meant or not... :)

Ok, good question. I may be going two days in advance of the rest of my party in June, and would like to go check out one of the prix fixe meals. Are those easy enough solo? I was thinking Mirage, Wynn, or Venetian/Palazzo if they do it....has anyone done the prix fixe tasting menu experiences as a solo visitor?

Remember which Wynn restaurants were offering the tasting menus?

Did Daniel Boulud in early March at $42 a person, very reasonable with a Lake of Dreams view. It felt a lot more expensive than the tab ended up being.
