Thanksgiving Week

We decided to book our trip this year over Thanksgiving week. Getting there on Saturday and leaving on Wednesday. Is this a big travel week or less so due to the holiday?

We haven%26#39;t been this time of year before and I%26#39;m curious as to what we should expect. We got a great rate at the Bellagio for our stay, but weren%26#39;t quite sure if this is due to low travel rates overall (economy) or simply b/c t-day week is normally less traveled.

Thanksgiving Week

Its usually pretty slow until starting on Thanksgiving night and Friday when SoCal empties into Vegas.

Thanksgiving Week

Sat after Thanksgiving or before?

If before you will miss the people who come in Wednesday evening and Thursday.

If after you will have busier days on Sat %26amp; Sun.

Thanks for the info. We are arriving the Saturday before so it looks like it may be a little less busy. Good to know.

I was there Thanksgiving week 2008. Seemed just like any other week.

We arrive in vegas from new york on tuesday the 24th and leave on saturday the 28th,will these days be particular busy? Not that bothered tbh just a curious question,

As far as Iv%26#39;e always heard air travel is busiest at Thanksgiving. More people travel then than at Christmas.

The hotels are generally less busy and you will notice an influx of people on Wednesday night for the long weekend. Leaving on Wednesday will be a bit crazy for you since it%26#39;s a very very busy air travel day. We usually visit Vegas for Thanksgiving week but head back on Thursday or Friday to beat the flight crowds. Hotel rates are usually fantastic that week, and this year even more so with the economy. Just booked a players club rate of $44/night at Mirage and we%26#39;re thinking of supplementing it with that great Bellagio deal you mentioned.

We were in Vegas last November from 22nd until 30th November and it was quiet(ish) until approx the Wed then it got extremely busy, if you are looking to have a meal or buffet you may want to book in advance, we didn%26#39;t but we were happy to eat in one of the little cafes.

You will have a ball.

Wish I was going back this year but opting to go to New York instead. :)
