Mirage rates-think it's a good deal?

Hi-we%26#39;re going June 1-June 6th. Never been to LV, but we%26#39;re excited about staying at the Mirage! (after much help from all of you!). Anyway, I%26#39;m about to book, with the Vocano 35 promo, the 5 nights, including tax is about $500. Do you think from your past experiences, these hotel prices will get any lower-I know you can%26#39;t see into the future, but never being to LV, not sure how much lower these prices could get for the Mirage, or should I just book it now (seemed like a good deal to me, but just wanted to check with the experts first!)

If you book directly with the hotel (unless they make you pay in full at time of booking and no cancellation is allowed with this promotion) usually you can call and have the price adjusted if you find a better price/promo somewhere else. If you don%26#39;t book it via the hotel, then you can%26#39;t make changes.

thanks-I%26#39;m just curious, in your experiences, do you see Mirage drop to even lower rates for that time of year? Booking with US Airways as a package, I actually save a few dollars, but then again, if the Mirage lowers its rates, there is nothing we can do about it since we didn%26#39;t book directly with them..Oh boy, another decision!

Seems like a pretty good deal to me. Mirage is a great property and the room renovations are great. In fact, probably the most compfortable beds we%26#39;ve slept in in Vegas, beating out the ';heavy hitters'; like Wynn and Venetian.

I prefer to book directly with the hotel because of the flexibility. If the Mirage has better rates, you can snatch them up. If you find a better rate at another property you can switch. Just my opinion :)

thanks- I just figured it out, it%26#39;s about $100 less to book through US Airways as a package-

I%26#39;m staying at the Mirage June 2-5 for 4 nights averaging $80 a night. Checked out package deals on Airtran and SW and separate flight and hotel and got better deal through the hotel than the package deal from where we%26#39;re coming from.
