Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour

Hello All,

I have done my research and found the Papillon celebration tour to be the cheapest rate for what we are after.

We would like a heli tour from las vegas with tour of the grand canyon that lands you in the grand canyon and flies you back to las vegas. No more than approc 4 hours.

Papillon have it for $255pp. Is there anywhere where i can find it cheaper? Any promo codes or discount websites?

Thankyou for your help

Can%26#39;t wait to get there in May!

Most on here do not class the Canyon Westas the ';true'; Canyon.

Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour

Well the Grand Canyon West is not considered the ';True'; Grand Canyon because it ain%26#39;t the Grand Canyon that everyone around the world has seen pictures of or seen film clips and stuff. Those clips and shots were of the National Park side, also known as the South Rim. No heli tours could land at South Rim because of an accident in the mid 80%26#39;s involving the same ';butterfly'; company you%26#39;re thinking of touring with. Plus, being on a non profit government owned National Park side of Grand Canyon (South Rim) versus in a for profit Native American owned side of Grand Canyon ( Grand Canyon West aka ';West'; Rim) is a completely different experience and it may be the same canyon overall, but the sheer majesty and depth of South Rim can not be equaled with Grand Canyon West, whether one gets there in a land tour by bus or flying there on a helicopter picnic tour or standing on the (misleadingly inaccurately advertised) SkyWalk. With that being said....

The 10% off code that was posted will give you the absolute lowest price for that Celebration Helicopter tour by Papillon. Be aware, however, that this particular tour does not leave from Las Vegas but from Boulder City, which is a 20 minute drive away. Also the tour will not fly over the Vegas Strip, but heading straight back to BC after going to Grand Canyon West. Just a heads up there. Well, hope this helps more with that whole '; west rim is not the real canyon'; thing, and do enjoy your heli tour :) I have flown with Sundance on the same kind of tour, and indeed enjoyed myself on that one.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the info guys. I am aware of the west vs south rim. But unfortunately we have to take the west rim tour due to time constraints.

The celebration tour suggested hotel p[ick up and drop off. Is this the case? will they pick us up from a hotel on the strip?

If not i am better off paying extra for a tour that will leqave out of las vegas as you will need to add taxi costs.

We booked our trip on the strip, there was plenty competition to get you to go,we paid nearly $300,that included pick up in a limo at the hotel and drop off after,as for West v South rim its still amazing, the copter flies under the Skywalk lands in the bottom of the canyon, refreshments laid on,$225 sounds good value but is that limo pick up as well, enjoy it.

Mboutros, yes Papillon will pick you up from your Strip hotel to Boulder City airport and take you back to your hotel when the tour is over. A van is what they use, I think..no limos. So dont sweat the cab fare. You likely wont need it.
