Bonneville Speed Week 2009

Hi

My husband and I are travelling to the States this year to attend a few car events and also Bonneville Speed Week.

We are facing the same problems as everyone else in trying to find accommodation in Wendover.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are travelling up from Reno (Hot August Nights) and need accommodation from about 07 August 09 to 10 August 09.

Any ideas?

Anywhere that we can put our heads for the night would be good!

We are keen to stay in Wendover as that%26#39;s where the car shows are (Golden Nugget) and as this is our first trip to the States we don%26#39;t want to miss out on anything!!

Unfortunately it looks like things have filled up quite quickly. You do have the option of renting an RV or using a tent and staying at the Salt Flats. The weather will be HOT though. Otherwise, you may want to keep checking with the following locations and see if anything opens up. If you are interested in information on locations to rent an RV, please let me know.

Thanks for your help and we had thought about renting an RV but they are so darned expensive if you only want them for a couple of days.

I have seen one vacancy at Montego Bay but it was a ridiculous price! Think we might just have to stay out of Wendover.

But thanks anyway, I%26#39;ll keep looking...

That is exactly where I have booked a few weeks ago..

It looks like a good place and also really reasonable price so we%26#39;ll stick with that for now...

Stay in Salt Lake City. Plenty of resturants, hotels, etc. A fast 90 miles from downtown to the Salt Flats.
