Excalibur pool

I%26#39;m holidaying in September and have found a good deal at the Excalibur. Can someone please comment on the pool? We stayed at the Tropicana last year and the pool was fine.

They are good if they are all open. Good bar. beware of the photographers on top of the multistorey carpark taking pictures in the direction of the pool.

I do really like the pool there.

The Excalibur pool area was renovated a year or two ago. They added a new section which is supposedly for adults only (since the main pool is notorious for having a lot of kids), though I don%26#39;t know if they enforce that.

We are going back this May because of the pool - make sure to rent a Cabana!

We were there in Oct 08 and I thought the pool was great. I particularly liked the salt water pool (with waterslides, although they weren%26#39;t open when we were there).

Four pools, including an ';adults only'; pool. Very nice lounging chairs, great drinks at the bar, good pool-side drink service. That being said, while the pool area was excellent, it got very dirty the later in the afternoon (the didn%26#39;t clean until closing, and the garbage and dirty towels added up). Also, it%26#39;s not a great pool for ';people watching';-- not many hot, young people. More of a mixed crowd of older people and families with kids.

I%26#39;m confused about the ';beware of photographers'; post - what does that mean?

I was there last month and it was quite clean, and the adults-only pool was %26#39;somewhat%26#39; enforced - there was only one family with little kids that I noticed where they shouldn%26#39;t be. Lots of towels, good service. It isn%26#39;t as neat as say, the pool at the Nugget, but is pretty good.

My wife and I are staying at Excalibur in July. Does anyone know how much it costs to rent a cabana there during the week?
